Bowen Technique - Coming Soon

The Bowen Technique is a gentle, hands-on therapy designed to support the body’s natural ability to heal and rebalance. Using soft, rolling movements over muscles, fascia and tendons, this therapy encourages the nervous system to relax, reduces tension, and promotes overall wellbeing.

At The Foot Clinic Durham, Bowen Therapy is provided in a calm, supportive environment and is suitable for people of all ages—from children to older adults.

What Is the Bowen Technique?

Unlike deep tissue massage or manipulation, Bowen uses light, precise moves across specific points of the body. These moves send signals to the nervous system, prompting the muscles and fascia to release and reset.

Between sets of movements, short pauses allow the body time to respond—making Bowen a deeply restorative experience.
